THERE IS WATER IN YOUR WILDERNESS- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Shaun Murphy preaches from Exodus 17:1-6; he reminds us to not give up on God during times of trial and wilderness. When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, and they were headed to the Promise Land, they found themselves stuck in the wilderness being refined by trials. They were not ready for the promises of God. Pastor Shaun says if we are going to grow we have got to move through seasons of pressing. Difficulties give us the opportunity to choose growth, or we can choose to run backwards. This is how sanctification happens; resting in faith is victory in process. Growth is not comfortable, but is necessary. It’s inevitable and needful; we need to value our growth more than our comfort, and then we will learn to value the trial. Believer, identify and learn the value of your wilderness. We’re not meant to dwell in the desert, but learn, change, and pass on through. There is water in our wilderness; life giving water and His Spirit is in the midst of it!
