THE CROSS, THE WISDOM, THE WORK, AND THE POWER OF GOD- When we understand the Cross, we become wise. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor John Rosenstern reads 1st Corinthians 1:18-31. In scripture, God says, by the “foolishness" of preaching, those who believe have the power of God working in their lives. This is true wisdom. God will destroy the wisdom of the world. His wisdom eliminates every other false way. As believers we must know we cannot achieve what we need on our own with the ways and methods of the world. Only when believe on His finished work will we find all things for life and living a victorious Christian life. The work of the Cross, paid our penalty for sin, and made us a fit habitation for the Holy Spirit because we are a cleansed temple. Now, with the very presence of God living inside us, and our faith anchored in the Cross, the power of the Holy Spirit will lead us to walkout this life in the way that glorifies God.
