RE-DIGGING WELLS-Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Jimmy Dupree reads John 4:10-14, teaching on Christ and His divine assignment with the woman at the well in Samaria. Brother Dupree addresses judgment, and how the blood of Jesus cleanses all who seek His forgiveness of sin. Jesus offered the woman at the well living water, despite her sin. Wells of that day represented life, community, and prosperity. We are all called to forgive and accept others who have failed. We are called to offer that which Christ offered. The Cross made the way for the body of Christ to do this. How deep is your well? Reading in Genesis 26:1-3 & Jeremiah 2:2-3 & verse 13, we see when Abraham died, the Philistines filled in his wells. God told Isaac to stay in the land despite the famine. Isaac was obedient to sow in the land and re-fill the wells. The enemy’s efforts to divide and conquer still exist today. God is calling us to re-build that which has been torn down, taking the finished work of Christ to the lost, being obedient to the call to believe, showing love, forgiveness, and lifting up our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We must not forsake the foundation of living water.
