WHO IS HE? – In the midst of a storm, Jesus said, let us go to the other side. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Dale Usey preaches on grief, reading in Mark chapters 4 & 5. When Jesus and the disciples find themselves in a storm at sea, Jesus was not surprised. Pastor Dale said interestingly enough the disciples find themselves in panic in a place where they were most familiar. They were fisherman, and had been in plenty of storms at sea. All storms of life are because the Lord has something He wants to teach us. Storms blow out the debris of our past and cleanup our present. He has our circumstances covered. Pastor Dale had to turn over and surrender to God his grief over the death of His parents. How long do we try to handle our situation before we wake up the master? Jesus is waiting for us to give our every care over to Him. Where is your faith? You know who He is? He is our safety, our protection, our strength, our power; all made possible by the Cross. What He did on the Cross took care of it all; He said it is finished. He carried our sins and paid the price so that we can live a victorious Christian life. Nothing is too small or too big for our Lord!
