THE COURAGE TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE-For whom, hath despised the day of small things? Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Jimmy Dupree reads Nehemiah 4:6-10 teaching on being faithful to the call. Do everything, as unto the Lord, was the call of Nehemiah to the people, in the midst of ruins in Jerusalem. The first Jewish captives to return to Jerusalem, under the leadership of Zerubbabel, rebuilt the second temple walls alone in just 52 days. These walls were some two-and-a-miles in length and eight feet wide. Brother Dupree encourages all who are facing a challenging circumstance just as these Israelites to remember we are called to to be faithful to God no matter the size of our call. Even, in the face of opposition, the blood of Jesus Christ provides us the way to stay faithful to the will of God. In Christ we are victorious, and shall not grow weary in well doing. We can be faithful because He is the faithful one who provided a way for all who will only believe.
