THE NEW COVENANT, JESUS CHRIST IS THE NEW COVENANT- Today Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart preaches from Galatians 2:20. Brother Swaggart preaches on the perfection that God can only accept. Sinful man is fully justified, and sanctified when he accepts Jesus Christ and is born again. Brother Swaggart explains how this is our position in Christ, that being, God sees man as perfect because He sees us through the blood of Jesus; however, we know our condition is not perfect. As Jesus Christ is the source of all blessings and righteousness, the Cross is the means by which we receive it. When the Cross is the object of our faith, then the Holy Spirit goes to work on our behalf and brings our condition up to our position in the righteousness of Christ. Brother Swaggart says, while we may still see giants in our lives, the Lord is more than able to go up and take the country. When we are born again, the Holy Spirit will help us, as our sanctification is a progression. As a Christian, we should expect victorious living when we have our faith forever anchored in the Cross of Christ.
