PERSECUTION- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Exodus 1:15-17, teaching on the efforts of Satan to stop the plan of God. In this story, Pharaoh, a type of Satan ordered the midwives to kill all the infant boys. This was an attempt to stop the coming of Christ. But the two head midwives feared God more than Pharaoh and refused to let such an atrocity happen. Brother Donnie encourages us that we are just as important in the plan of God, as there is still much land to possess. We have an authority in the name of Jesus to believe and see His will go forward. Every believer in Christ is prepared to fight this spiritual war we are in; for greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world. We may feel squeezed on every side, but through anchored faith in the finished work of Christ, we can be obedient to the plan of God. The church must shake off the wiles of the devil, for there is an army rising up. God’s plan will continue to go forth to seek and save the lost.
