VICES AND VIRTUES- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Ephesians 4:25-32 encouraging us to take inventory of what’s in our hearts. There should be a difference between those in the church and those in the world. Sin will destroy the church; as believers, we cannot be apathetic about sin. Pastor Gabe says one who lies should now speak truth and turn from anger. We must not steal, and especially not rob God. We are not to gossip or carry on any corrupt communication; we should pray for our enemies. We must show kindness, forgiveness, and be tender hearted to those who have hurt us, just as God has shown His grace and mercy to us. Only correct faith in the finish work of Christ will allow the Holy Spirit to do this in our lives. The Christian with correct faith in the Cross will see vices put off and virtues put on.
