FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED- Today Pastor Donnie Swaggart preaches from Romans 10:13. He shares the story of Mel Trotter. A preacher from the 1800’s who was set free from alcohol by the power of God. Brother Donnie encourages all who will believe on the finished work of Jesus Christ will know He calls us out of the world to be salt and light, to be separate. The Holy Spirit will convict us of sin in our lives. He makes it clear that drinking alcohol, in any quantity is wrong. Brother Donnie says preachers need to stand up and tell the church that alcohol is a sin, and God will set us free from any and all bondages. Brother Trotter opened 38 missions in his lifetime to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He told all who would listen, if any man be In Christ, all things are passed away, and behold everything is new. Brother Donnie encourages us with the meaning of whosoever; it means ALL who will hear, and call on the name of the Lord, at ALL times. God will answer. The church’s mission is to throw out the net, it’s time to come home.
