If you obey the Lord, you will be blessed; without God, you cannot do well. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the sin offering that lie at the door for Cain, as God was giving Cain another chance to bring the right sacrifice. Under the New Covenant, Brother Larson reminds, we don’t even have to provide the sacrifice, it’s already been provided, we just have to accept it. We can be made right with God, if we will only believe in the right sacrifice; that being faith in the slain Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. Brother John says it’s been that way since the beginning; the selfishness of man wants to control his own destiny, pride says depend on self and not a Savior. We must totally depend on God, all other religions depend on the works of man. Christianity says only one dependence can lead to eternal life, and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified; outside of the Cross, there is no life. Brother Larson says the church has fallen prey to ignoring the sin condition of man. Until sin is recognized as the problem, a Savior will not be sought.
