Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Galatians 3:18 explaining how Jesus Christ made the law obsolete as Christ fulfilled it at His crucifixion. Under the New Covenant we live in Christ, for He is the only one who could keep the law in totality. We are in covenant with the same God that Israel was in covenant with under the law. The Ten Commandments are still God’s standard and representation of holiness; but we are not under Moses but under Christ, only He could keep the Law perfectly. Now, in the New Covenant the laws are written on a believer’s heart. The just shall live by faith in Christ; this is our responsibility to position ourselves under the grace of God, then, the Holy Spirit will transform us into the image of Christ and fruit will grow in our lives.
