Brother Swaggart reminds us that all our strength and help comes to us through faith in the Cross of Christ. The Holy Spirit will not work outside of the finished work of Christ. We must not frustrate the grace of God by seeking out any other means or ways to find victory in our lives. Brother Smith says the unity that God will recognize is of faith in Christ and the Holy Spirit power results. Unfortunately, man is continually trying to create his own unity through humanistic psychology, and other false doctrines that have crept into the church today. God will not honor these, for our treasure is in the excellency of the power of God. (2nd Corinthians 4:6-11)
