Death is the result of Adam and Eve’s sin in the garden. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how God did not make man to die. Adam and Eve were created in a covering of light, but after their sin, they lost that light and covered themselves with aprons of fig leaves. Brother Swaggart says this is what man has been doing from then until now. Many Christians in the church, are doing this and doing that, thinking they are covering themselves. Brother Swaggart says the church and all believers need to read the Bible, as the Book of Acts is a model of how the church should look today. Brother Larson reminds that only our faith in the Blood of the Lamb can be our covering, a propitiation for sin.
