At salvation we see the miracle of regeneration. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the Doctrine of the Cross. After salvation, there must be a moving forward in Christianity, if there isn't, there will be digression in our faith walk. The believer's faith must abide in Christ and what He has done at the Cross for the Holy Spirit to work continually on our behalf. Satan does everything he can to stifle a Christian’s growth and produce frustration in our lives. Satan wants to get our eyes off of Christ; often this happens through the wisdom of men, which confronts the rest that comes in trusting in Christ’s finished work. Correctly maintained faith in the Cross will show forth how effective our salvation can be; that is, living a victorious Christian life.
