WHAT IS THE LAW OF CHRIST— Tonight Pastor Loren Larson preaches from Galatians 6:2, bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the Law of Christ. And in 1st Corinthians 9:19-23, Paul writes, and although I be free from all men, but I make myself servant unto all. The Apostle Paul lived to tell the Gospel to all. Paul said, I will lower myself as a servant to those with or without law, and try to meet them where they are; but I will do it under, the law of Christ that he might gain them for the Gospel’s sake. Brother Larson explains the Law of Christ in the New Covenant. There are three constants the believer must be aware of and walk in. The first law is the law of faith, which is faith place in Jesus Christ’s death at Calvary for salvation. The 2nd great law is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which is the power of the Holy Spirit, which will conform us into the image of Christ, which is ALL founded on our law of faith in Christ’s finished work. He will set us free from the law of sin and death. Brother Larson encourages us that this law doesn’t just remove sin in our lives, but it will add fruit to our lives and bring blessings. Having this faith in Christ is the how to do the what to do. The third constant is we can then know the Law of Love, which is to love God with all our hearts, and love our neighbors as ourselves.
