JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE- The Spirit of the Lord is greater than all that tries to hinder. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Tommy Bates from Community Family Church in Independence Kentucky reads Judges 16:6-7, sharing the story of Sampson and Delilah. Sampson was chosen to be a part of the salvation and deliverance of the people of God. Delilah came in with a spirit of oppression; but God ultimately shined His glory on Sampson, despite Delilah's efforts. Believers are to be the salt of the earth. The spirit of oppression is working overtime to steal what we have in Christ. The Bible says, we are a peculiar people, but Satan wants us to blend in with everyone else. Pastor Bates says that is impossible for the believer, there is no mixing what we have in Christ. In Him, we stand out, and the Holy Spirit is calling us to duty. Don’t let your oppressing Delilah lie to you again; like Sampson, we may have cut off our consecration, but we can never go too far. Just say Lord remember me; He is sending His Spirit of Evangelism to all who believe.
