The more the light of Christ goes forth the more darkness is exposed. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome special guest Pastor Bill Bailey from Happy Gospel Church in Bradenton Florida. Tonight the panel studies Satan, reading in Job 1:6-11. Satan is tempting Job, pressing him, all in an effort to cause him to lose his way and deny God. Brother Swaggart asks, why did God choose the godliest man on the face of the earth at that time for this testing? The test resulted in demonstrating the great doctrine of sanctification for victorious life and living? Humans, as well as angels, were created with free will. Because God is sovereign, Satan had to present all his requests to God. Christ’s death on the Cross provides every believer a hedge of protection, but at times, that hedge is removed in order to bring about a test or lesson in our lives. The believer can also bring down that hedge when he or she denies God or chooses to walk in rebellion to His ways.
