THE GRACE OF GOD- We must take responsibility for our failures. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor JR Armstrong from MAG Church in Mauriceville Texas as they read Philemon 1:12-14. Teaching on forgiveness, we look at the life of a slave master, Philemon, who forgives his runaway slave, Onesimus, who had stolen from him. Under the tutelage of the Apostle Paul, Onesimus gets saved and goes back to Philemon asking for forgiveness. In this story, we see the grace of God. God forgives us when we repent of our wrongdoing. We have the holiness and righteousness of Christ living inside. It takes just as much grace to bestow mercy as it does to receive it, which is so important in the restoration of a brother or sister who has fallen.
