APOSTLESHIP- The Apostle’s primary purpose is to keep believers focused on biblical truths. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel read Colossians 1:1-2 discussing the role of the apostle, which is to instruct and disciple the people. The panel dives into and names all the apostles we find in scripture. The Apostle Paul was the one whom the Holy Spirit gave the meaning of the New Covenant, which was the grace of God. The Apostle John was the apostle of love, and was known for telling all he met “little children, love one another”. Brother Donnie shares the life and teachings of Apostle Smith Wigglesworth, who was known as the apostle of faith. During the early days of Pentecost, faith was falling by the wayside; God lifted up and anointed Wigglesworth’s ministry with many healings and believers who came back to the faith. God calls all Apostles, then and now. Brother Donnie says one of the most neglected biblical truths today is the message of the Cross. The preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ and him crucified must carry on for the harvest of souls to come in.
