Tonight, at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel read Colossians 4:1-6 teaching on an attitude of prayer. The Apostle Paul taught the early Christian slave masters in Colossae to give unto their slaves that which is just and equal; for as they are your slaves, you are a slave to Jesus Christ. All will have to answer at the Judgment Seat of Christ for how those under our authority were treated. The Holy Spirit was dealing with the hearts of the Christian slaveowners then, just as He is dealing with our hearts today. We are called to walk in wisdom with praise and thanksgiving on our lips, always with an attitude of prayer seeking the lost to share the life-giving gospel. The greatest reward for our faithfulness will be praising and worshiping our Lord and Savior 24/7.
