GIVING IS A SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINE- The gospel will only go as far as the dollar takes it. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Matthew 6:19-21 as he continues his series on tithing. Pastor Gabe emphasizes why God’s Word is clear about tithing. Tithe means ten-percent. Pastor Gabe explains that if a person who is not an occasional giver, nor a tither, they could be called a “tipper”. This is when the giver personally determines, by their own standards and timing, when and how much to give as they see fit, instead of giving what God demands. Those non-givers, occasional givers, and tippers must be convicted by the Holy Spirit to tithe. This is how the Kingdom of God grows. A culture of giving needs to be created within the body of Christ; as giving must become our lifestyle, which leads others to come to Christ. Pastor Gabe says, and if that isn’t blessing enough, we will see more blessings in our lives for being obedient to the call.
