IT’S A GOOD FIGHT- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel continue a study on the Book of Philemon reading verses two and three. This letter, written by the Apostle Paul to Philemon, addresses the situation of a runaway slave who stole from Philemon, ran away, and then sought out the Apostle Paul for advice. He eventually gives his heart to the Lord. As a child of God, we are either a prisoner to the circumstances of our life, or we are a prisoner of Jesus Christ. We are in a battle, and all believers are soldiers and have duties in building the Kingdom of God. Brother Donnie reminds us that God has called His children to take the gospel to the lost and to be joyful givers to the work of God. We must know how to fight this good fight of faith. This fight is not our own, and when we have our faith anchored in the finished work of Christ on the Cross then the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf. Satan works overtime to get us to move faith from Christ’s finished work to anything else. Jesus has already won this battle; our faith must always remain in Christ and Christ alone and then His victory is ours.
