HE ANOINTS OUR HEADS WITH OIL, AND OUR CUP RUNNETH OVER- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Psalm 23:1-6 teaching on how the believer’s mind is the devil’s playground. Satan will mess with our minds, while God deals with our hearts. Even though God will bring us to a place of peace and rest through our trials, we must not get too comfortable on this higher plane. Even on the mountaintop, life’s annoyances will find us. We must keep our minds stayed on Christ, and not be pulled away by our circumstances, which rob us of our peace. Satan will try to distract our faith and pull us away from the victory we have in Christ. But by faith in Christ’s finished work alone, the power of the Holy Spirit will guide us, protect us, and lead us to live out this Christian walk in victory. He anoints our heads with oil; renewing our minds daily, and our cups will be overflowing with the goodness and blessings of God in our lives.
