He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Hebrews 1:1, as Paul is extolling Christ. Jews who were coming to Christ were coming under great persecution and being disowned by their families. The Apostle Paul was bringing the apostolic message of the Cross to come against the teaching of the law in Judaism. The panel discusses salvation and the change that comes with being born again along with living for God, and the power for service that comes with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Brother Larson lays out some of the historical greats of Pentecostalism. He says, while William Durham started with the understanding of the finished work of Christ, God is now using Brother Swaggart to finish it. Over time, the Holy Spirit has shown Brother Swaggart some things he did not know about how to attain victory over sin. Believers must anchor their faith in the finished work of Christ; this is where the cross gives the Holy Spirit the legal means to transform the believer into the image of Christ. This is the end time message for the whole body of Christ. The Cross must be presented in humility so this truth can go out. Jesus died for all.
