We must extol the Lord Jesus and give Him glory always. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Hebrews 2:12-14 and Colossians 2:14-15 discussing the superiority of Jesus Christ and the benefits of the Cross. Jesus put His trust in God when He came in the incarnation. He placed Himself subservient to God even though He was God. He moved on this earth as a man, anointed by the Holy Spirit, even though He never lost His deity. He laid it aside to fulfill the work He came to do. Jesus defeated Satan in every capacity at the Cross. His death on the Cross brought victory; there, He defeated Satan and the power of sin was broken. We must see all the value of Calvary to live in the benefits of what Christ accomplished; then, we will walk in a victorious Christian life. He that is in us is greater than he that is in this world. On the Cross, all powers and principalities of darkness were defeated.
