Fear not; I am the first and the last, I am He who lives. These are the words of Christ to John, as He appears to him on the Isle of Patmos. Tonight Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Revelation 1:12-18, as the Lord told John to write what He saw in a Book. These scriptures address the seven churches selected by Christ, symbolized by the seven golden candlesticks John saw; with Christ, the Son of Man appearing in the center, in His kingly apparel. Jesus is the head of the church. He was dressed in white, in Majesty and Authority; with eyes of fire, portraying His fierce judgment. His feet of fine brass, showing His humanity, but yet superhuman. He had the voice of power. Brother Swaggart says just as Christ showed Himself to John, He is still revealing Himself to people today. We will one day come face to face with Him, in all His glory; and we will answer to Him as judge, or as Savior, but answer to Him we will.
