When we praise the Lord, we don’t have time to complain. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel read Revelation 19:1-3 discussing praise in heaven and on earth. Brother Donnie asks, what is praise and why is it so important? In heaven, the bible tells us that praise around the throne is continuous; it is acknowledging all Jesus Christ is and what He has done. The panel encourages us that here on earth, we can praise our way out of depression and oppression. Brother Smith reminds us, that when we are praising and worshiping the Lord, it takes our eyes off our circumstances and ourselves and puts our focus on Him. When we show our faith through our praise, we will experience His grace in our lives. In the 13th chapter of Hebrews, verse 15, it is described as a sacrifice of praise to God continually, which is the fruit of our lips, as we give thanks to His name. He is the Lamb of God who is worthy of our praise, for His victory is our victory.
