Wednesday Night Service

25-Jan-2023
Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Hebrews 2:17 discussing how the devil tempts us, and how he tempted Christ. Before the Cross, Satan tempted Christ in His physical body with hunger, and in his Spirit and soul to worship him instead of God. Satan’s goal is the same; to turn all, even Jesus from going God’s way. Unlike man, Christ did not have a sin nature; He was totally dependent on the Holy Spirit, and His Father, to stay in the will of God. If Christ had stepped out of God’s will, in any fashion, all of humanity would have been lost. Satan is a deceiver, using his beguiling manner to tempt us as an angel of light. Our only defense against the devil’s craftiness to steal, kill, and destroy us is to keep our faith rooted in the finished work of Christ. This is how we can walk a victorious Christian life.
