FOR THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH WILL COME— Why will God do this? Tonight Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Revelation 6:17. Dr. Gray says, while God is a God of love, there will come this time of the Great Tribulation where His justice must show forth in a reckoning over the rebellion of man since the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden. The tribulation will be an overwhelming destruction for seven years. Brother Josh says, it is a fully justified punishment for the thousands of years God has watched with long-suffering, waiting for His creation of man to turn from their sin and look to Him. The panel discusses the hardened hearts of many in the church, who have left, or ignore the Cross, and thus, have lost sight of many other foundational doctrines. Attention is given less and less to the atonement and end time events, and more and more to social justice issues of the present. We must be cleansed by the blood; holding onto our salvation through repentance of sin, and that cleansing power of the blood will prepare us for heaven’s glory.
