The Cross of Christ is the only thing to which sin will respond. Sin will not respond to anything else. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Hebrews 5:3-4 under the Old Covenant sacrifices were only offered by the priests, with the high priest being kindred to Aaron, which was a calling of God. The panel discusses the royal priesthood today of Jesus Christ; He is our High Priest, and God chooses who He calls into the fivefold ministry. The role of the priest in the Catholic Church today is heresy, and the Catholic teachings of salvation through sacraments are false. We are justified by faith in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross, and that alone.
