You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Tonight at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Hebrews 1:8-10 discussing the glory that belongs to Jesus Christ alone. In the Book of Hebrews, the Apostle Paul writes of the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ alone; he wanted the Jews to know what they would be forfeiting if they digressed back to Judaism after accepting Christ as their Savior. Brother Swaggart asks, how many Christians do the same today, forsaking the Lord, because of discouragement that comes with failure. Despite the failures of Peter, Jesus prayed that Peter’s faith failed not. Pastor Gabe says often times believers today will say the Cross doesn’t work, so they turn to their own self efforts in search for victory over sin. All believer’s victory comes on God’s timetable, not our own; we cannot quit on God; He will come through. If we ask and seek the will of God, we shall find. God’s Word is true; we must walk wisely, and we will not lose out with God.
