Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how God gives wisdom, and when it is handled with grace, God will come through every time no matter the situation. Far too often, a person is determined to have their own way, and many preachers are caving to the pressure to please their people. Preachers must stand for what is right, and say when something is wrong. This awareness to stand should come to everyone who is saved by the blood of Jesus. We have a better Covenant under the New Covenant. The Apostle Paul is trying to teach the people, as he was detecting some of the false teachings in Rome. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man comes to the Father but by me. That’s what it boils down to, we’re either hearing truth preached from the pulpit or we aren’t, and we’re living in truth, or we aren’t. The Holy Spirit is attempting to bring all of us to the place of truth.
