Faith in the Cross of Christ is the only way of sanctification for the believer to live a victorious Christian life. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel explain justification and sanctification. The Cross is the key to everything that we need in this life. The devil is relentless to bring all kinds of oppression on believers in an effort to stop the work of God on this earth. When we take up His Cross daily, we will find the Holy Spirit will help us to stand against the evil efforts of Satan. The Cross is the solution to our problems. We have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness, and have been liberated into the kingdom of the Son. (Colossians 1:13) Now we shall serve in the newness of the Spirit, and not the oldness of the letter. This is not doing works and law by our willpower, but by faith in Christ alone.
