Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the powers of evil fallen angels who work under the direct instructions of Satan. Reading in Daniel 10:20, we see God’s angel Gabriel conversing with Daniel in a vision about his coming conflict with an angel of darkness. The prince of the Grecian Empire, was not an earthly prince, but an angel of Satan who helped Alexander the Great to conquer the known world of that day, although without his knowledge. This prince is now confined to the underworld, but will be released in the last days in order to help the Antichrist. Brother Swaggart says it is the same presently today with fallen angels controlling entire nations. This power that Satan has over the world, in many respects, prevails as deception and persuasion. Many kings and leaders, have been persuaded or lead, or driven by the things of the world or the world’s system, which is why demonic influence and power has been seen in every dynasty throughout history.
