Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how we must believe God’s provision in the way He says it will come, just as Abraham and Sarah could not scheme to bring the son God promised into the world. God honors faith that is put in the finished work of Christ. All we have to do is believe God, and He will perform the task at hand. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. He wasn’t just believing for a baby, but for a son to be the lineage of a nation that paved the way for God to come to this earth as a man, Jesus Christ.
