Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Nebuchadnezzar’s vision, during the time of Daniel and the Babylonian rule. The statue of the head of gold, and the breastplate of silver; as the Lord showed Daniel, this typified the empires to come, starting with Babylon, and that these empires were as man sees them. The Lord sees these empires as beasts. The fourth beast, is the Roman Empire. The fourth beast shall be the forth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. The Roman Empire ruled the world for just short of a thousand years. The panel discusses how when the Antichrist comes, his activity and rule will be centered around the Old Roman Empire territory, a small geographical area involving ten countries.
