Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Mike Mounce from At The Cross Family Worship Center Church in Cuba Missouri. The panel reads Romans 5:12, looking at spiritual and physical death. Because of Adam’s sin in the garden, all of mankind is born in sin; therefore we are born with the human nature and the sin nature. If we come to Christ, then we also have a divine nature. Brother Swaggart reminds us that this is the cause of all war in the world, man’s inhumanity to man that engulfs the human race, and the only cure for it is the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did at Calvary’s Cross. There is no other cure. When the trump of God sounds, corruptible puts on incorruptible; this will be the end of the sin nature for believers. There will be many people who are not saved in the kingdom age, they will not have given their hearts to Christ; many will, but many won’t. Satan then will gather these up, they will have forfeited an eternity spent with Christ in heaven, and hell will be their eternal home.
