Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss walking in the Spirit. With the righteous nature and character of God being revealed in the law, we can know the eternal values of the Mosaic Law with regards to that which was, and is, right and wrong; but at Calvary, Jesus fulfilled all the law. So when we are in Christ, in the New Covenant, at salvation, we have our faith in Christ alone, and the Holy Spirit then works on our behalf. It is an imputed righteousness, which covers our sin, and then the Holy Spirit leads and guides our Christian walk, as we are transformed into the image of Christ with victory over sin. We are no longer bound to Law, but to Christ.
