Today on A Study In The Word, Brother Swaggart and the panel, discuss John 14:28, how Jesus was preparing the disciples for what was to come with regards to the Holy Spirit, and His Ascension into heaven. The panel discussed the apostles that were with Christ and the leadership Peter showed after Pentecost. Brother Swaggart believes Peter showed more spirituality after His infilling of the Holy Spirit. Brother Loren Larson says this work of the Spirit, produces New Covenant regeneration and baptism into Christ; for all of those new believers in Christ, this was the day where that could happened, which was the day of Pentecost. The panel discusses how this indwelling of the Holy Spirit was made available solely due to Christ work on Calvary’s Cross.
