Today on A Study In The Word, Brother Swaggart and the panel discuss Pre-Pentecost, Holy Spirit power. Before Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was working for the Apostles on a temporary basis. Brother Larson says they were yet to have the permanent, indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Don Paul Gray asks, so the apostle’s work of teaching and preaching was done similarly to the Saints of the Old Testament? Many verses are given to help better understand the work of the Holy Spirit, when it comes to believers of the Old Covenant and New Covenant. Brother Larson adds, the church today, needs to learn this and understand what the Cross supplies us when it comes to being born again.
