There is one solution, one remedy to address sin and have power over it. Today on A Study In the Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss that Jesus Christ’s finished work on Calvary’s Cross is the only answer for mankind. Without the Cross, man only has philosophies to address sin, many only have a form of Godliness, but deny the power of God, and many turn away as they are lead into a works mentality to address their problems. Colossians 2:8 reads that the believer should beware that any man spoil us through philosophy and vain deceit and the traditions of men and not after Christ. We can only be found complete in Christ; in Him alone we will find victory.
