Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 9:24; seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your Holy City to finish the transgression and to make an end to sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy. Seventy weeks that are determined upon your people, actually means seventy sevens, which translates into 490 years. That was from the time of Daniel’s day until the Battle of Armageddon. This period of time has to do with God’s people, the Jews and Jerusalem. The Second Coming of Christ, and the Jews acceptance of Him will finish the transgression. Israel will not only accept Christ at the Second Coming, but will also accept what He did for us at Calvary.
