The world today needs prayer, as we are in the beginning of sorrows to come. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss judgment of the present and that to come, as God’s desire is to turn men towards Him as we near end times. In Romans chapter two, we see the subject of repentance, and judgment addressed by Paul. He says it is going to happen, and judgment is going to come; and God is calling for repentance. His goodness will lead to repentance. In verse five, Paul speaks of the hard and impenitent heart. God’s judgment sometimes is simply lowering the hedge of protection, and allowing the natural course of sin, because sin is rampant in the world. We are seeing the birth pangs of sin now, but an eternal judgment is coming, as we all will stand before God one day. Brother Larson reminds that the man that does right by God will receive eternal life; those rejecting salvation will result in that man or woman treasuring up unto him or herself the wrath of God.
