Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 9:21; while I was speaking in prayer; even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision in the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly touched me about the time of the evening oblation. Michael is registered as the crown prince of angels; he’s listed as an Archangel. Gabriel is not, but Gabriel is listed as a man standing in the presence of God. You can’t get any higher than that. Brother Swaggart believes there are angels doing the work of God on this earth, and God knows it’s more needful and more necessary now for angels to work, than in any other time in history. If they worked in Old Testament times, they will work now. And I know we have the Holy Spirit now, and they didn’t have the Holy Spirit to the degree that we have Him today, but still the world today is seven point four billion in population compared to several hundreds of millions. It’s a good possibility that the church is going to see the work of angels even more. You know, Jesus taught that the faces of angels, men’s angels are always attentive to the face of God.
