Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss rebellion reading in Romans 10:2-3. Brother Larson says if man doesn’t see the value in what Christ did at Calvary’s Cross they will search out another way that fits their selfish desires of what they think God should be. Brother Gray says he is amazed at the number of people he has seen in his lifetime of pastoring that have come to the truth and then simply walked away. Brother Swaggart addresses the ignorance of the people and the rejection often times of the preacher giving the truth. Another great obstacle to one going forward in their Spiritual walk is that demonic powers will get involved and detour our faith. The actions of the rejection of truth, and rebellion from man often comes under the umbrella of I don’t need to be changed. Brother Larson says many times it just takes a trial or failure to bring a person to realize their personal agenda is out of line with God’s Word.
