Men reject the Cross for moral reasons. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss sin and why men do not want to address the sin in their life. Brother Watts says all too often when a person is presented with the doctrine of the Cross and how to live an overcoming life for the Lord, he will reject it because he doesn’t want to give up the sin in their life or their false doctrine. They will change the truth to meet their personal desires. If righteousness comes by the law, then Christ has died in vain. Brother Larson reiterates, what decisions we make are all moral decisions, with the decision to believe the Cross of Christ being the most important decision a person will ever make; it results in heaven or hell.
