At the Cross, Jesus Christ made us free from sin. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:18 discussing how the Christian can have victory over sin. At salvation, we have been liberated from sin that once dominated us before coming to Christ. The God of peace sanctified us wholly when we said yes to Him. Dr. Gray says, this is to be the goal of every believer; when we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ, the Holy Spirit will lead and guide us in the benefits that were already won for every believer on Calvary’s Cross.
