Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 7:24. This is a description of the old Roman Empire, that controlled a great part of the known world of that day. Of all the rising kingdoms, Rome was the most powerful, the strongest, and lasted the longest. The ten horns reference the ten nations that will rise up out of this geographical area that Rome occupied two thousand years ago. These will join with the Antichrist to try and destroy Israel. The Word of God is very clear who the victor will be. After near destruction, Israel will accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah in this Kingdom Age to come; the Jewish people will become, with Christ’s guidance, power, and protection the leading nation on the face of the entire earth.
