Today, Brother Swaggart is joined with Loren Larson, Bob Cornell, Dave Smith, and Dr. Don Paul Gray. The panel looks again at 1 Corinthians 12:10 and explains the differences between the Old Testament office of the prophet and the New Testament gift of prophecy. Just because a believer functions in the gift of prophecy does not necessarily mean that they stand in the office of the prophet as it concerns the five-fold ministry. The panel further teaches how the office of the prophet works under the New Covenant.
