Brother Watts says too many Christian colleges today put psychological counseling ahead of teaching the Word of God. If the message of the Cross would be taught as the sole means for victory in one’s life, there would be less depression, anxiety, suicide and divorce. The attack of the enemy can only be stopped by the power of the gospel. Psychology applies a worldly diagnosis with no biblical solution; it will not get to the heart of the problem, which is sin. Only the blood of Jesus can penetrate and cure the sinful heart of man.
